TopTenREVIEWS Review

The Canon Powershot Sd1000 really puts the slim in sleek and slim digital cameras. It has a sturdy yet compact design that makes it perfect for travel. It also has great storage capacity and good resolution to help you improve your photo shoots. The Canon Powershot Sd1000 sports a simple but effective array of features that make it an excellent choice for point-and-shoot enthusiasts.

If you want compact design, the Canon Powershot Sd1000 will deliver. It is one of the thinnest cameras you can find, coming in at .76 inches. In fact, it’s one of the smallest cameras out there in both dimensions and weight. The Canon Powershot Sd1000 also has 16 MB of internal memory, one of the largest amounts we’ve seen. While not a lot compared to the SD cards out there, it’ll help you get started until you get a memory card.

Experts all liked the small design of the Canon Powershot Sd1000, but they also liked the image quality, saying that the camera’s 7 Megapixel resolution makes for great photos. They also commented on the relatively simple feature set, saying that it was sparse yet got the job done. Consumers universally liked the small size and many of them also commented positively about the face recognition technology which helps keep photos of people in focus.

The Canon Powershot Sd1000 is small enough to go anywhere with you. Its slim design and great photo quality make it the perfect point-and-shoot camera for any occasion.

My main criteria for what qualifies as a great camera is that it is easy to use and takes great vacation photos. This camera delivers on both counts and is a nice, compact size. Last week, during my holiday, I set the camera mode to use the viewfinder...
