We may have found photos of the new Nikon D300s and D3000 cameras, maybe. While these pictures aren’t “official” they certainly look authentic.

If rumors pan out, the new D3000 will be just like the D5000, only it won’t shoot HD video. This would become Nikon’s new base model entry-level dSLR. Also spotted is the D300s, which will shoot HD video. Nothing official has come out of Camp Nikon about these models, although if they are real we should expect an August launch.

These new cameras from Nikon make me realize that I want a new camera. If only I could get my hands on one for review, I might just be sold one on.
