Face detection is commonplace in digital cameras now, as is image stabilization, or shake reduction, whichever you want to call it.

Sony has a camera that detects when you put on your best grin and captures it...for the most part. We played with it at PMA so now you can see it in gripping, shot-by-shot action!


"Smile Shutter Tech, eh? Ooh and they have a camera recording ME!"

"Blast! I can't seem to get the timing right!"


"Success. Sort of. I guess my winning smile is enough for two."
