Review of the Samsung Dual View TL225
The Samsung Dual View Cameras are innovate new devices that will delight those who take self portraits. ItÃs only a matter of time before we see other camera makers like Cannon and Nikon taking the dual LCD screen ques from Samsung.
Hi I'm Jessica with TopTenREVIEWS, with a look at the Samsung DualView TL225. This camera comes with all the features you'd anticipate in a high end point-and-shoot camera. But what makes it stand out is the LCD screen both on the back and front of the camera. The screen on the front makes the camera ideal for taking self portraits. The front end screen also touts a "Child Mode" which is designed to hold the attention of kids so they are looking at the camera when you take the picture. The front LCD screen can also display a countdown clock for timed pictures. The rear LCD screen measures 3.5 inches. That's one of the largest screens available for a camera of this class. We found this camera to have sharper more detailed images than some of the other camera's we've reviewed. The screen has a 1.152 megapixel resolution display with touch screen technology making it intuitive and easy to use. The only physical controls on the camera are the on/off switch and the shutter release on the top of the camera. The DualView TL225 image quality is exceptional. The camera is capable of taking images with up to 12.2 megapixel resolution. It also features both optical and digital zoom. The high quality 27 millimeter lens allows for wider angle shots than you find on a typical point-and-shoot camera. And for fast action shots, the TL225 shoots up to 6 frames per second just by holding down the shutter release. This camera can also be used to capture HD video. You can shoot in resolution as high as 1280 by 720p at 30 frames per second. The mini HDMI outputs let you see the pictures or video you've taken immediately on your HDTV. The device comes with 55 megabytes of memory with a Micro SD slot for up to 8 gigabytes of memory. To sum up, The Samsung DualView TL225 is a versatile, solid digital camera. It highlights the photographer who takes self portraits. The front screen is innovative but the rear LCD touch screen shouldn't be neglected. The overall quality of the camera meets the needs of anyone looking for a new "point-and-shoot". I'm NAME with TopTenREVIEWS; we do the research so you don't have to.
