Casio Announces New Exilim Cameras for the Entry-Level Photographers

Casio has joined the growing number of camera manufacturers who have announced new cameras for the holiday season. Casio’s latest are point-and-shoot cameras intended for the entry-level photographers. These two new cameras come with an array of automatic features that attempt to aid inexperienced photographers take better pictures.

The Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z450 will retail for $200 and the Casio Exilim EX-Z90 for $150. Both have 12MP sensors but the Z450 will have 4x zoom and a 3-inch LCD in back while the Z90 has a 2.7-inch screen and 3x zoom. Both can record 720p HD video at 24 frames per second.

These new Casio cameras will hit shelves in October of this year.
